In 2007, Hollywood Cycles/ Silver Cycling, a Southern Metro based club, successfully promoted the Black Dog Time Trial series, the Dakota Tech Criterium series, the Henderson Time Trial and the State Cyclocross Championships. The club is 70 members strong and its elite team had notable success in 2007:

Aric Hareland

A 22 year road racing veteran and time-trial specialist Tim Mulrooney capped off the season by taking his 5th MCF Rider of the Year as well as the Time Trialer of the Year. He also won the Black Dog Time trial series, his second Chris Kerr Memorial Road Race and his forth consecutive Firehouse 50 time trial. In June, Aric Hareland won the hotly contested State Criterium Championship and later in the season Hareland and Mulrooney teamed up to win the inaugural Henderson 2-person Team Time Trial. Aric then finished off his season taking his second consecutive Cyclocross Rider of the Year award. Linda Sone won four events to earn her first Rider of the Year award for Women 1/2/3.

Hollywood @ Campus

Other notables were David Herbert, David Pramann and Brian Avery who dominated the Masters 50+ Rider of the Year series placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively and earning six race wins in the process.

ya know, i don’t hate silver cycling either. it is born of flanders(hollywood still has all the kit , i think) like all good teams are, so it may be suspect.
