Posted 12 Dec 2007 at 4:57 pm ¶I’m familiar with website clock issues. My guess is that the problem is the website is hosted on a server in a different timezone. Their website engine (i.e. podPress) might contain a way to skew the clock, but surprisingly there is often no good way to override the server’s clock settings.

Posted 12 Dec 2007 at 9:34 pm ¶On chip timing… I know the investment is high but… Wisconsin rides, like the Dairyland Dare, use it. Seems to work well (they include sinsors at the rest stops, so you can get a report subtracting your “rest time”.)
So I can see the tech work for a lap race pretty easily. Overall it sounds more like making sure the people running it are trained on the tech.
