He and Matt Brandt were gluing sewups on our front porch at midnight the night before the St. Paul crit. I think they even raced on them. I don't know if this was a case where ignorance is bliss, but I sure wouldn't be racing on freshly glued tires. Cole won the WI state road race in 2007. Matt was second.
