Dear Harris Cyclery friends and customers,
It is with heavy hearts that we convey to you the news that Sheldon Brown has passed away. Our thoughts go out to his family at this time. The cycling community has lost one of it’s most passionate members.

I learned more from his site than all other sources combined. His odd ball humor and knowledge will be missed.

He was the best resource for all sorts of stuff, especially if you were trying to cobble together old components to put something decent together (I’ve been there many times before). That gear calc was great too. We’ll miss ya, SB.
