Sheldon Brown: 1944 - 2008

Dear Harris Cyclery friends and customers,
It is with heavy hearts that we convey to you the news that Sheldon Brown has passed away. Our thoughts go out to his family at this time. The cycling community has lost one of it’s most passionate members.

    Oh no, I like that guy. I always used his gear calc on his website. He did some pretty neat stuff with cycling.

    This sad news is all over the Internet biking community. Just goes to show how many lives he had influenced. He was the best resource for all sorts of stuff, especially if you were trying to cobble together old components to put something decent together (I’ve been there many times before). That gear calc was great too. We’ll miss ya, SB.
