TNW #3 - Elite Teams Shine

Tuesday Night Worlds - April 29th, 2008

I might have my folks mixed up but I don’t think Mike from SPBRC was in the Cat5 race the other night. I think the order should be:
    1. Mario, 2. Andy (UofM), 3. ___?___. I was fourth to the line and I think I remember this being the order in front of me.

    Rob,

Unless someone else was wearing his bib from the week before (#747) the results are accurate.

Hate to break it to you but this is a points race format and 4th at the line means no soup for you!

    1) Andy Rosch - 11 pts
    2) Mario Hernandez - 10 pts
    3) Mike King - 5 pts
    4) Aaron Shaw - 5 pts
    5) Bernie Kaeferlein - 4 pts
    6) Bib 741 - 3 pts
    7) Bib 757 - 3 pts
    8 Bib 811 - 2 pts
    9) Bib 787 - 1 pt
    10) Bib 793 - 1 pt

Rob, I was there, really. You should remember me as the guy who started chasing the break on his own after lap 7 or 8. You know, the one who couldn’t quite separate from the pack and ended up gassing himself for no real benefit other than a decent workout. I think I even heard you say something to the effect of “WTF is he doing?” Of course, that could have been anyone in the pack.

Anyway, by my logic, you owe your place on the last lap to my generosity. I look forward to my share of your prize money ;)

Cool Mike. Got you confused with someone else I met last week from SPBRC. Sorry for the confusion!

No, I didn’t make any comments. I started the break with the UofM guy in tow. Two guys bridged up to us on the last lap (Mario was one of them, you must have been the second), and I came in a wheel length behind third.

    Oh well.

    Looking forward to next week!

Yeah, Rob and I had no clue we had that break, and he pretty much pulled me around. Rob, when are you coming up to 4s so we can break away again?

I was pretty sure Rob didn’t know it was a pts race when he literally gave me the second to last preem.
