Our new audio intern was busy trying to find a place to relieve himself or something and never showed at the starting line. Despite a slow start, Rookie ramps up the Monster intake and lifts the pace on self-promotion. Despite showing signs of having his on-air legs last week, Rookie shows reluctance to mix it up with the other riders. Homme barks commands from the team director car and then leaves us hanging. MCF President Kevin “Skibby” Schaeffer finally shows (apparently representing Cat 6 as well) but Frye doesn’t have it in the final sprint cause he’d been setting tempo too long. The Cat 6 boys are DNS and will now have their MCF surcharges doubled.

Wow. Swanson goes sub-14 as Homme and others call it…Grandstay and GP pick up MAJOR points for the NVQS.
My out on a limb pick of Casper winning with a 14:37 was off by just 1 second of his finishing time.
Casper is Mr. Consistency at Black Dog.
