BTOW winners aren’t necessarily the first to the stripe and this week’s BTOW goes to Aric Hareland of Synergy who was beaten at the line by Grandstay’s Doug Swanson for a prime at the Hopkins Criterium. Don’t know what was on the line but they wanted it bad. Hareland wins the BTOW but not the prime with the FULL extension. Hopefully Swanson took home one of the crowd primes -$$!
*A late edition to this week’s BTOWs. A new honorable mention goes to Brian Kozicki for his throw to edge Marc Kermish of Loon State Cyclists in the Men’s 4/5 race in Hopkins. This has got to be the closest BTOW finish to date. It would have got top honors if it had been for first place but Harelands crazy extension holds on to top honors.
Honorable mention goes to Jim Bell of Grandstay who won the battle for fourth over Matt Muyres of Silver Cycling and Brent Binkowski of GSCA in the 35+ 1/2 race at the Sprinter’s Classic.
