The second day of interviews and recordings from Madison is 20x better than the first day. Rookie is able to score all types of interviews with semi-famous bike racers including; Dewey Dickey, Todd Wells, Marko Lalonde, Steve Tilford, and the showdown with Paul Schoening.
A great listen!
The greatest quote caught on tape, “I can’t even tell the two of you apart.” This answer was in response to a question about Darrin Homme and Super Rookie…who do you think said it?
1) Dewey Dickey tells us about his training method and challenges all takers. Quite possibly the greatest interview ever recorded in the history of bikethrow.com.
2) Contrary to popular belief Patty Cakes did not spoon Bergman at the MicroTel. After the race Patty Lemieux discusses his “dirt stache” and Bergman is a “trooper.”
3) Bjorn Selander tells us his plans, and calls his shot at Hudson CX.
4)Â What will Marko Lalonde say to (dis) when he laps him on lap 2?
5) Molly Cameron tells us about the Portland race scene and the best bike in all of cyclocross, the Vanilla Workshop Speedvagon.
6) 2008 Olympian Todd Wells agrees to an interview with Super Rookie. The hard hitting questions are real amazing.
7) Steve Tilford tells us about drinking a ton of beers on State Street and doing lots of racing. It should be noted that Tilford has been seen at the Ikea in Bloomington wearing Uggs and a Carhart vest. Others have called him, “real hesh.”
Paul Schoening agrees to an interview after much deliberation. He is amazed at his own tenacity and is the number one fan of Bikethrow.com. Good times.
