From my point of view (behind the lead 3 women), I could see that Seana and Patricia were close side by side going across the line, but the officials ruled it as a fair sprint. According to spectators, the shoulder to shoulder bump happened after the two women crossed the line. In regards to sprinting in the saddle, Seana has some serious power! Congratulations on the BTOW/FOW Seana! That definitely was a close finish to watch! When I registered that morning they were behind in time already with the start of the juniors races. The registration table then informed me that all of the races were moving back to the original time of 15 minutes later. In fact while I was there they inked out the earlier times on the flier at the registration table and marked 15 minutes later on all of the start times. As I was warming up I kept looping by the course and noticed that the finishes were finishing earlier than what I thought they would. Having noticed this I wanted to make sure I got some warm up on the course and made sure I was there in plenty of time to get a few warm up laps in. So I can understand what happened, but on the same hand it is our responsibility as racers to make sure we are aware of what is going on. If it was a lap I probably would not have cared at all, but the officials letting him in after we had done 4 hard laps was an incorrect decision in my opinion.
